A black and white session share from a new little friend. This sweet little one has an awesome big sister that is cute as a button and is always making me smile. She is going to show her new baby sister the ropes for sure. Both girls are precious and are lucky enough to have parents and grandparents that adore them. Those early days weeks with a newborn can be exhausting. A sense of humor is always a bonus to get through it all! It often can be such a blur so I’m happy I could be a part in documenting one of the first days of this new family of four.
Her birth announcement: The Chalkboard cards print so well and I love the bight floral colors that really make them stand out. My newborn announcements are 5×7 cards printed on fine linen cardstock and include envelopes. Each newborn’s card is customized just for them and are beautiful frameable pieces of art to share with family and friends.
Lifestyle: This session share is small glimpse of what I like to capture for newborn clients. A few posed sleeping newborn shots are a must to show the fine details of how little they are. I love to see their peeling skin and delicate features. The hair is so important to capture as it often falls out or even changes color later on. It is fun for me to see at the order appointment a few weeks later how the faces have filled out and how much hair has been lost! I always try for a sibling shot if the newborn has a big sister or brother. I never expect much from children under three years of age but we capture whatever that moment is and it is precious. The family posed is always attempted but it is the candid moments that are really the most special to me. Posed newborns are very much a trend in the photography industry so I love to capture the relationships and being together the most.
