Confirmation Class Joins Church on Palm Sunday

Family Time Smyrna

I had the honor of volunteering with the 2019 Confirmation Class over the last year. SFUMC tackled something new this year by extending the length of the class and offering it to 7th graders. It was quite the journey and I was proud to be in attendance (and take pictures) as the newest members of the church were presented!

I’m officially about 2 years+ behind in session shares. That’s okay because these cute Smyrna kids can be shared at any time. I love the Smyrna Duck Pond and how it changes though out the seasons. The light can be fantastic in both morning and evening. Even better than the light are the goofy, toothy, smiles of this brother and sister. Such a fun age to capture!

father’s day in georgia with four generations

Father’s Day in Georgia will be extra special for this extended family with four generations of men! They were the perfect cover models for the June Father’s Day edition of Our Town Magazine. It was a pleasure to spend a little time with them on one of our cooler summer mornings in the heart of Smyrna. Great-Grandfather moved to Smyrna in 1972 from Atlanta. What a legacy he leaves!

Happy Father’s Day!

Extended family from out of town met with me in Smyrna, Georgia for a frigid cold photo session. You can’t tell, can you? The sun was extremely helpful and we might have jumped up and down a few times!

The above picture was the pick of these brothers for a custom Organic Bloom framed image to gift their mother on her 8oth birthday. Can you think of a more special gift than this for someone who would say her family is everything to her?  I love how thoughtful they were to take time and do this.

Rarely picked to hang big on the wall by most, the candid moments are my favorite. They tell the real story of a family and I especially love these since this crew couldn’t have been lovelier.

smyrna sisters

Smyrna sisters are complete with the addition of their beautiful new baby sister. Aren’t they lucky?  And wasn’t I lucky to get to photograph their family on such a gorgeous day? Love this Smyrna Family!

I love the colors they wore. It has a definite Valentine’s-Vibe and why I am sharing them today!  Happy Valentine’s Day (and Ash Wednesday!).

These are just a few of my favorite shoes from Preschool School Portrait Day this fall.  See More (Part 1) Here!

Makeup day has now come and gone and galleries are listed for parents. It was a whirlwind and so enjoyment to see each and every kid for the short time I had with them!
