Looks like the perfect Christmas Card picture to me.
Or Maybe this is the perfect picture for a Christmas Card. You have to show off the Galaxie.

It is always so bittersweet when Seniors go off to college. I know it is a big transition for everyone in the family.

Adding the family dog is a MUST for Senior (and family) pictures!

Cool Kids

I captured some pictures of this High School Senior and his 1966 Galaxie 500 that he has been fixing up. He is off to college now and has a bright future ahead of him. It is always a big change in families especially when the first child moves away. Bittersweet. I think his sister may actually miss him???

Take note of Mom’s bright yellow top. I have had several sessions with yellow and it always photographs so well especially when you are out in nature. It looks great against browns and greens and really compliments the ones in blue.

This Mama and Daddy adore their baby girl. Her cheeks are so squeezable!

Looks just like her Mom!

smyrna baby and family

We met early one summer morning to capture this sweet baby girl with her mom and dad. Windows to shoot can be short with infants so we met in Smyrna close to home so there wouldn’t be a long commute. She is about 3 and half months old here which is a wonderful age to capture after a newborn session. She was full of smiles and expressions that were fun to capture. At this young age before a baby can sit up on their own, parents are the perfect backdrop to add to a session. The smiles come easy with a cute, easy baby! And, I personally love capturing parents and their reactions watching their precious little one.

how cute is her adorable lemon outfit?

Smyrna Duck Pond

smyrna sibling share

I’m officially about 2 years+ behind in session shares. That’s okay because these cute Smyrna kids can be shared at any time. I love the Smyrna Duck Pond and how it changes though out the seasons. The light can be fantastic in both morning and evening. Even better than the light are the goofy, toothy, smiles of this brother and sister. Such a fun age to capture!

preschool shoe love in smyrna, georgia | part 2

how do you like my personal project of cute shoe photography?

These are just a few of my favorite shoes from Preschool School Portrait Day this fall.  See More (Part 1) Here!

Makeup day has now come and gone and galleries are listed for parents. It was a whirlwind and so enjoyment to see each and every kid for the short time I had with them!

a fun smyrna family graces the cover of our town magazine in july!

I was excited to take pictures of the Groebner family for the July cover of Smyrna’s favorite magazine. We celebrated the 4th of July a little early in their own front yard. There are so many beautiful places for photo shoots in Smyrna, but I always love to capture a family around their own home when possible.

This family was an easy pick for a cover picture because I imagined middle school students all over Smyrna being so excited to see their favorite science teacher in their mailbox! The kids are super-duper-cute which doesn’t hurt either. I had fun seeing them messy with watermelon dripping down their chins and elbows! #GoodSports
