Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. –Luke 2:14

I hope Santa is good to you and yours! Come see my three tonight at the family Christmas Eve service at 5PM at Smyrna First United Methodist Church on Concord Road.  It will be full of children and no one will notice yours being loud! 🙂  It is a great place to get hearts and minds in the right place to celebrate the true meaning of the season. Fingers crossed that the Angel, Wiseman and Joseph don’t get stage fright!

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Lastly, thanks to all of you that have supported me in my business. 2014 is already starting off very busy for me and I am so excited and thankful for that!

Merry Christmas!

My WebBlog gets quite lonely during the holidays but I don’t think I have ever neglected it this bad! I am busy with the activities of the season just like everyone else and loving it.  I have several clients pregnant right now which takes me back to when I was pregnant during Christmas with Alex.  A baby is the best gift, don’t you think?  Being pregnant not so much!  This session share shows how fabulous Jen looks carrying twins!  We are eagerly waiting to meet her little boy and girl!

I was happy to reconnect with Jennifer.  We were at Auburn together at the same time and speaking of Auburn…

War Eagle!  Someone get me to Pasadena quick!

high school senior portraitsWhere has the time gone? I can’t believe Shelly is already a Senior in High School and thinking about colleges.  She is so smart I know she will have many to choose from!  {One word for you, Shelly: AUBURN!}  Her Mom and I have been waiting for four years to be able to take her Senior Pictures. It was so much fun and I think she is gorgeous inside and out.  high school senior portraits high school senior portraits

Lovely Sisters 2009

A blast from the past: Capturing milestones of graduating high school and middle school.

This year I have been working with The Gold Hope Project to help Fighters and Survivors of pediatric cancer.  I had a session with a local “Fighter” recently.  I am so happy to now know Audrey, her mom and also her dog, George. Audrey is a Fighter for the second time with Neuroblastoma and has started chemo again this summer with a phase I trial at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.  We met one morning in Smyrna the week she started this new trial.  When I asked her mother what made Audrey the happiest she said “Dogs” so it was important to me to have George be a big part of our session.  I am so glad he was there.  I don’t think he cared much about having his picture made but he really brought out Audrey’s personality.

I ask all prayer warriors reading this to please pray for Audrey and her family. Please pray that the trial she is currently on is successful and mostly pray for a miracle as that is what is needed the most.  You can read more about Audrey’s story on Gold Hope’s Facebook page HERE.

If you know any other child under the age of 21 that is currently a “Fighter” of cancer or one that is a “Survivor” of the disease, you can direct them to The Gold Hope Project Site so they can apply for a session of their own and help spread awareness of pediatric cancers.  They can request me as their photographer or another one if they are not local.  It is an International organization with hundreds of photographers waiting to donate their time and give to others what they do best.

Atlanta Baby Photographer Mommy

It was an unusually cool morning for this milestone birthday session for two sisters.  You would never know they weren’t so into it would you?  Little Grace didn’t want to show us her new-found walking skills right away. I love that Mom could laugh about it all with me.  It only took a little patience and we got some really cute images from our time together.  I share that with you to let you know that we all have bad or off mornings and children are no different. I’m not bothered by waiting on them and it always works out.

Lollipops!

The lollipops at the end of our session certainly did not hurt and it was so fun watching them try to eat them. Grace was able to learn from her big sister just what to do with hers. 🙂

To say that I am partial to these two little girls would be an understatement.  I am honored to be their photographer and the one to have captured “one” and “three” with these girls.
