marietta family fourBaby Luke is the newest addition to this precious Marietta family of four. I wish every newborn in the world could be loved on like this one! He is so sweet and I love seeing how much he looks like his big brother. I wonder if he will be as musical? little boys brother mother of four family

family of four mother little boy brother family-father-photoI just love the black and white pictures. So timeless and I know firsthand how precious the pictures below of these brothers “when they were little” will become in no time at all.   marietta newobrn family

This is a lovely family and I am excited to add to their growing wall gallery as their baby boys are born and grow bigger and bigger. What matters most to them hangs on the wall in a collection to enjoy at all times!

Newborn Sessions

***Newborn sessions are best held before 2 weeks of age. Lifestyle family sessions capturing both Mom, Dad and siblings are the best memories to capture at this special time of life.

All in the family sistersNew Baby Sister | Love

family sistersA new baby sister has finally arrived.  Welcome to the newest member of this family!  She is beautiful and very smiley with a loving big sister to show her the ropes and give lots of kisses. Like all second babies, she is a very good sport and doesn’t flinch a bit when her big sister is hugging her tight. sister love baby sister new baby sisterMom is handling two babies at the same time so well (whether she realizes it or not). Whew! I imagine exhaustion has really set in since we last saw each other. I’m glad I was there to capture so many smiles and kisses. That is what we hope to remember from those early days. sisterBig Sister was oh-so-sweet and a busy bee.  She was asleep by the time I was leaving!

A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life.

birth announcements airplane organicbloom black frame organic bloom midnight blue frame blackwhite newborn frameSharing a special delivery of not only a sweet newborn boy but also his birth announcements.  I was always fond of trains and airplanes when my little boys were little.  I love the airplane and airy design on these cards printed on linen cardstock.  They are truly special and a wonderful keepsake that is a perfect 5×7 for easy framing.  This family now has new The Organic Bloom frames to add to a wall gallery showing off the newest member of their family.  I love the curves of these frames.  Mostly I love that this little one will be on the wall for all to enjoyed instead of a computer drive!

These beautiful sisters were lucky enough to get two new puppies this year.  Meet Shrimp and Grits.  They were every bit as wiggily and playful as you would expect.  We laughed a lot and had fun.  When I got the call for this session it was very much like one for a newborn session.  We had to rush and fit it in ASAP to make sure we captured these puppies before they got any bigger.  Mom said “they are already changing!”

We are in the process of hanging their favorite images in a collection of Obrien Schridde black frames.  It is going to look so great.  I have these same frames hanging in my family room and I think I love them more each year.

Christmas Gift Idea:  Frames!  Of course.  Grandmas and family always love getting framed pictures of their family.  I also love to give framed chalkboards or mini ornament frames that can be hung on the tree.  I have several of these on hand if you need help.  If you want to try canvas, I know Canvas on Demand has a good product you will be happy with.  Instacanvas is what you need to check out if you are an Instagram user. (They have Gift Ideas to check out and just make sure you order by December 10th for Christmas delivery).

Merry Christmas!

Meet Elizabeth’s brand new baby sister!  I don’t have great expectations of a perfect image when combining a newborn and under 2 year old sibling.  I like to just put them together and capture whatever that real moment happens to be.  It is always great just because it is them together!

I was so lucky to be able to fit in a trip near Augusta, Georgia to photograph this sweet girl before she got too big.  Just like her big sister, she couldn’t have been an easier baby.  She looked remarkably like her Daddy when I first saw her but I see all-Mom in the images I took.  🙂

You can see a faint scar in her hairline in the first picture where the umbilical cord was sitting on her during pregnancy.  I only saw it in certain lights and was glad to capture that part of her in several images.  I think it gives her such character and reminds me of what a miracle every baby truly is.

Thank you to Anna’s family for letting me be her newborn photographer!

Three’s Company?  Truly showing my age with that reference.  This may not be Janet, Chrissy and Jack but I bet there are just as many shenanigans at their house.  You can just ask Mom!

This is my favorite picture of these three.  I have no expectations of a perfect image when I put a newborn, big brother and big sister together.  That is especially true when the oldest one is barely 4 years old.  I love the unexpected and capturing whatever the moment brings.  I love this particular one because it reminds me of my same picture of my two little ones holding their brand new baby sister.  You can go back and visit it here if you would like.  🙂  I also love that you can see the joy, excitement and how proud they are all over their faces.  I hope Big Sister & Brother are always so happy about their little sister.  Whatever is to come I know how precious this memory will be in the years to come.
