2 graduates family

When you have two Seniors graduating in one family, might as well get the whole family involved! We picked the hottest day of the summer to coordinate the schedules of all 4 members of this family. It worked out great and we were finished before a big storm came through. Congratulations to the Class of 2023 Graduates and Good Luck on your next adventures!

People often ask when the best time is to take Senior Pictures in Atlanta. Often, Seniors are very busy during their Senior year so it is best to get them in before school starts. You can take them any time during that year – even around graduation. My most popular times are the same as family photography – Fall and Spring. Schedule to hold your spot on my calendar for those times. The date can be adjusted if needed but I can only do so many per season. Now is the time to book for Fall and you most likely don’t want to go past March if you intend on using your images for Graduation announcements.

It’s that beautiful time of year when spring is in the air and you want to be outside more and more. The sun is finally shining after a winter full of rain – yay!  Now is the time to get Senior Sessions on the calendar. It is the perfect time to capture graduating Seniors as well as schedule upcoming Seniors. It is typically the last professional session many will have before their wedding day. Capture the special time as they leave childhood and become adults with a custom session designed around their interests. We can be creative with artistic captures while still accomplishing the more professional look for college, sorority/fraternity, and job applications.

Email me for a quote outlining options for Senior Photography Sessions as your guideline and we will talk to make sure sessions are more customized for your family.

Whitefield Senior Sports

Whitefield Sports are on display with Luke’s senior portraits. It was fun to hold his session on the Whitefield Campus in Mableton where he has made so many memories.

We had this senior session in the fall and he just graduated this past week.  Congratulations, Luke!

I took his older brother’s senior pictures as well so the above pictures of them together are some of my favorites. I always love adding in the whole family at some time during a Senior’s last year before college.  It is usually the last time a family has professional pictures taken until someone gets married.

Love this Whitefield Senior and his whole family.  It was an honor to photograph them and be a part of such a memorable year!

Atlanta Senior pictures are taken anytime during the senior year of high school including the summer before school starts.  Fall is a beautiful time of year and Moms are always glad to have photos chosen and ready to go when it comes time for Senior announcements.

It was a lovely day in Marietta for this funny guy’s Senior Portrait Session. He is off to college now and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!

It is that time of year! Yearbook dedications and tribute pages are typically due to school yearbook committees at the first part of the year. I offer complimentary design for my full portrait family sessions through October. Designs are custom to each child with you adding your tribute wording. Often we use a student’s favorite colors and style for design. However, I love when the boys says “surprise me!” I think the Chalkboard background is my favorite.

Portrait Sessions should be scheduled 3 weeks to a month before tributes are due to your school. We can include an updated individual portrait of your middle school or high school student and a smaller size of the full family. Bonus – Christmas Card picture taken care of! 😉  Parents usually have a lot of questions about how this is done but it is easy…except for coming up with the perfect words straight from your heart to convey to your child!

A tribute page is a wonderful memento for your graduating child (and yourself). You will be so glad you did this in May!

senior sessiona styled senior session for valentine’s day senior session atlanta-senior-girls senior session senior session

Sharing a little fun with you to celebratae Valentine’s Day!

The NAPCP Retreat last month had a fun styled Senior Session for girls. I mostly opened packages of confetti and glitter (and then tried to pick up the mess I made!).  I was happy I was able to get a few shots of my own and thought I would share them on this Valentine’s weekend.  This was a fun set up using a lot of Target dollar store goodies and a few things from Amazon too. I think the real key to a gorgeous session is professional hair and makeup. These girls were professionally made up and styled and it shows. If you are scheduling your very special, once-in-a-lifetime Senior Portrait Session, I would highly recommend it. Oh, and add a little music too. 🙂
