I just finished the Campbell High School Tennis Team pictures for their sponsors, website and even yearbook. I know they (especially the Coach) is glad to have this behind them so they can focus on a winning season.
We won our first match against Whitefield and I can’t wait to see more. If you enjoy tennis even slightly, I recommend watching this team play. It is so fun and exciting. Good luck, Team!

Meet the Mathurs! If you live in the Enclave, I’m sure you know one of these four or at least their spunky dog, Dempsey! They are the perfect Smyrna Family to be on the November Cover of Our Town.
It is that time of year! Yearbook dedications and tribute pages are typically due to school yearbook committees at the first part of the year. I offer complimentary design for my full portrait family sessions through October. Designs are custom to each child with you adding your tribute wording. Often we use a student’s favorite colors and style for design. However, I love when the boys says “surprise me!” I think the Chalkboard background is my favorite.
Portrait Sessions should be scheduled 3 weeks to a month before tributes are due to your school. We can include an updated individual portrait of your middle school or high school student and a smaller size of the full family. Bonus – Christmas Card picture taken care of! 😉 Parents usually have a lot of questions about how this is done but it is easy…except for coming up with the perfect words straight from your heart to convey to your child!
A tribute page is a wonderful memento for your graduating child (and yourself). You will be so glad you did this in May!
Look at my beautiful Senior Models! After our shoot for the June Our Town Cover we had a little fun. These two have been friends since they were little and I’m so glad we now have these pictures to mark the end of their high school careers. They are both going off to the University of Georgia soon and I can only image the fun they will have. They already look like Georgia Bulldogs, don’t they?
What is better than being silly with your girlfriend???
Congratulations to the Class of 2014! Now booking Class of 2015. I have a couple of spots left in August.
I had a great time hanging out with this group of Senior Graduates. I was shooting the cover for this month’s issue of Our Town Magazine and we were ready to celebrate the beginning of summer and being out of high school forever. Hanging out by the pool seemed like the perfect spot. These Seniors have grown up in the Smyrna, Mableton or the Powder Springs area and started off together as preschool and early elementary students. And now look at them all grown up about to go off on their own. Here are some favorite pictures of our time together.
Congratulations to the Class of 2014 (and War Eagle, Nick!) I can’t wait to see all they accomplish at college.

Nick Russell graduated from Whitfield Academy and is enrolled at Auburn University (NROTC).
Shelly Eidson is the 2014 Valedictorian graduate of Dominion Christian School,
and will be joining the freshman class at the University of Georgia this fall.
Elaine Sharitz graduated from Whitfield Academy and will be attending Virginia Tech.
Mary Beth Robertson graduated from Campbell High School’s International Baccalaureate Program
and is enrolled at the University of Georgia.

College BoundAnother one of my Seniors is off to college now. I was so happy to be able to get that last family portrait before he left to start a new chapter in his life. I feel for the Moms sending off their boys. I can’t image how hard that will be for me. Luckily he isn’t too far away but I know their home is feeling a little empty right now. The future is bright for him so I am excited to see what is ahead for both of these boys!
The Light was lovely on this day in Smyrna! I am so happy to be this family’s photographer – they are so genuinely kind and fun to be around.
As a bonus we were able to also capture updated pictures to mark 8th grade and the end of Middle School which is also a really special and exciting time. Lots of milestones happening in this family!
